There is a strong movement among the Carriers to provide dedicated distributed antenna system (DAS) networks for certain facilities. These DAS networks are an extension of the existing outdoor macro network. Specific targeted facilities are airports, convention centers, mass transit facilities, corporate campuses, and multi-building commercial developments. Carriers are also looking to develop DAS networks in certain outdoor areas not suitable for standard macro sites (i.e., canyons, hilly terrain, high-end residential). Depending on the project, the COMPASS team will act as the turnkey service provider for the Carrier, Equipment Vendor, Building Owner, and/or Neutral Host Provider. The project can be developed for a single carrier or multi-carriers.
